"Keeping up the Church House” was a Feature article in Baptists Today’s February issue by Executive Editor Dr. Johnny Pierce. The article was concerning The Provident Group, Rusty Poss-President and the work they do providing a Facility Condition Analysis. The Provident Group recently did a Facility Condition Analysis on Vineville Baptist. This report gave an assessment of the needs of the facilities and cost and priority of the needs, thus helping the church budget for future needs to keep their church house up.
In some cases, your church may have people within the church that can perform the needed work but a non-bias, professional analysis along with accurate cost estimates is essential. This leaves you in the position to approach maintenance items proactively rather than reactively because you know your needs and budget years in advance.
